Co-Directed by Hoyt Long and Richard Jean So, Chicago Text Lab is a Digital Humanities Initiative based at the University of Chicago. We explore computational and quantitative approaches to the history of literary and cultural production, combining network analysis, natural language processing, and other social-scientific tools with traditional humanistic methods. Our projects span the past and present, and range across a number of regions and countries.
